This week, Room 4 participated in the annual "Fix a Leak" week challenge. We went to different places in our school that have running water and looked for leaks. The areas we found the most leaks were in sinks and we also found a few running toilets. We will be sharing this information will some of the adults in our school. Here is a short summary from 3 students in Room 4.
Fix a Leak Week is when classrooms all around Manitoba go to different locations in their school to look for leaks that may not have been found previously. This year, Room 4 participated again because we want to be sure that Radisson School is not wasting water. Did you know that only 3% of the Earth's water is drinkable? That is not very much! We need to make sure we are not wasting water. Check out the pictures below to see us in action! We will also be presenting to our school on Earth Day about Water Conservation and we will up date you with some more learning then!
